Get Set Up with the Craft Tracker
Executive Summary
If your related instruction provider (educator preparation program) is using the Craft Tracker, then you will need to set this up. Otherwise, you should use the tool that they are using. The Craft Tracker is a critical part of teaching apprenticeship degree programs because it supports the receipt of apprenticeship funding. You or your educator preparation provider partner will need to:
Provide Craft with your list of apprentices and evaluators
Upload program content
Assign learners, evaluators, and dates to the program
Why Use the Craft Tracker
As described here, there are many benefits to being a part of a teaching apprenticeship degree program, including building your own, more diverse teaching pipeline, attracting new teachers who are better qualified, bringing in new teachers who know your schools, building career pathways, and offering a unique benefit to prospective candidates.
The Craft Tracker is a critical part of a teaching apprenticeship degree program because it supports receipt of apprenticeship funding. It is designed to make data collection and reporting simpler by being the primary platform that apprentices use to track their work while gathering all of the elements required by the Participant Individual Record Layout (PIRL) reports, which require about 500 points of data for each learner.

Provide Craft with Your List of Apprentices & Evaluators
You can add people into your database in bulk or individually; both options are described here. For purposes of adding people to the database, an apprentice is a "learner" in the Craft System. The person who reviews, observes, and approves their activities is the Evaluator.
